Violet Rome, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and the services offered by our portfolio brands. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our site or use our services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Collect

This website is primarily informational. We do not collect personal data from visitors browsing our site. If you choose to contact us through our contact form, we collect only the information you voluntarily provide: your name, email address, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Our portfolio brands and apps may separately collect information such as your name, email address, and phone number when you register for or use those services. Collection and use of that information is governed by the terms presented at the time of sign-up.

SMS / Text Messaging

Some of our services allow you to opt in to receive SMS text messages, such as notifications, updates, or alerts. The following terms apply to any SMS program operated by Violet Rome, LLC or its brands:

  • Opt-in: You will only receive SMS messages if you explicitly provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive them, either through an in-app prompt, a web form, or another clearly disclosed opt-in mechanism.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the service and your activity. You may receive periodic notifications, reminders, or updates.
  • Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
  • Opt-out: You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-enable messages, reply START.
  • Help: For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at hello@violetrome.com.
  • No sharing: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes under any circumstances.

Google User Data Retention & Deletion

MailCheck For Safari accesses Google user data (email messages, labels, and profile information) solely to provide core extension functionality. All data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to, stored on, or retained by any external servers operated by Violet Rome.

OAuth tokens are stored locally in your browser's extension storage and are used exclusively to authenticate with Google's Gmail API on your behalf. No Google user data is cached, logged, or persisted beyond your local device.

You may delete all stored Google user data at any time by removing your account from the extension's Settings page, which revokes the OAuth token and deletes all locally stored account data. Uninstalling the extension also removes all stored data. You may also revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

Cookies and Tracking

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Basic session cookies may be used for essential site functionality only. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services on this site.

Our Apps & Brands

This Privacy Policy also applies to SignMyPad and BadgeScan, which are operated directly by Violet Rome, LLC. SignMyPad processes all documents entirely on your device — no account is required, and your documents and signatures are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. BadgeScan collects only the information necessary to provide badge scanning and check-in functionality, and that information is handled in accordance with this policy.

Our other portfolio brands — SimplyGames, Roman Edition Games, GEOde, PebWorld, and Happy Jew Year — each maintain their own separate privacy policies. Please refer to those respective sites or App Store listings for information about their data practices. PebWorld processes data on your device; details are available on its App Store page.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect any information submitted through our contact form or collected by our services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
